I am writing to you in reference to injustice in the system in Kentucky. The corruption is bad especially in one area. The trooper and prosecutor are allowing lies to be told and there is nothing being done. This is sad for us all when the system fails and corruption takes over.

I do what I can to help as well. I'm all for criminals serving time, but I'm also for the system being better at rehabilitating, and running better prisons. My son is serving time in a Texas prison. The violence he witnesses needs to stop. I'm a concerned citizen for us all when inmates are released under these conditions. I do my best to make others aware of how wrong our prisons and jails are. Jail by all means shouldn't be some cushy place for inmates to be comfortable with, but they need help in many areas. My son tells us there is no such thing in doing good here or just doing your time. It's a constant battle to defend yourself from other inmates and employees. Our son was also in T.Y.C. and there was so much violance. Prisons need to be ran better, and people should care. People are put in here to be made better for when they come out, or are they? This should scare people, it does me.
